Gateway Community Action Partnership, which operates the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants & Children (WIC) in Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties, will soon close its Millville WIC office. The Gateway WIC office at 811 W. Main Street, Suite F in Millville will close permanently on April 27, 2026. Beginning May 4, 2026, clients can visit the program at either its Vineland or Bridgeton locations. The Gateway Bridgeton WIC office is located at 10 Washington St., Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Call (856) 451-5600 for more info. Children from Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Head Start programs and their families will take part in a virtual “hands on” pottery experience with The Barn Studio of Art, 814 Whitaker Ave., Millville this winter. Barn Studio activities for Gateway’s centers includes 184 children from Cumberland County Head Start centers from November 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023. Children in the River’s Edge Head Start and Cheryl Chadwick Early Learning Center in Bridgeton, as well as students at the Vineland II and Vineland III Head Start centers will participate. Children will enjoy a hands-on clay arts experience and a gallery showing and creative art experience as part of the program.
